_ 『電脳コイル』は天沢退二郎の闇黒児童文学へのオマージュである聞いて、それはもう聞き捨てならない話なので、すぐにノベライゼーションを開いてみると、なるほど対照的な少女二人（一人が天沢姓で名の読みがおなじ）が軸になるところも、見えないものを見る道具立ても舞台設定も天沢臭芬々たるものがある。アニメのほうは５分ほど見たことがあり、たいへんおもしろかったが、そのときは天沢臭を嗅ぎ付けなかった。あんまり黒くなかったし。
天沢成分は常に不足しているのでノベライゼーションが代償になればしあわせだと思ったが、残念ながら臭いまでで味はしなかった。コミックにも手を出してみたが、こちらはもっと臭わなかった。

天沢世界の再現が困難であるのは、文体の夢幻性が卓越しているからだ。夢幻的という惹句で括られる作家群には度を越した名文家が目白押しなので、そのなかで天沢は目立って文章がうまいというわけではないと思う。しかし、こと夢の質感を現世に喚び出す力においては、他の追随を許さない。

生れ落ちた世界に適応するために、覚醒時の私たちの心は、この現世用にカスタマイズされた人格を使っているけれども、夢の中で現世から離脱すると、私たちの人格は退行する。つまり、まだこの現世に応じて象られ終わっていない心に戻る。洗練され固着した世界観は普遍の方向にほとびて、心理的社会的な抑制は弛み、物理法則は柔らぐ。

天沢作品の中でももっとも構成が整ってわかりやすい『オレンジ党と黒い釜』が、ぼくにとっていちばん頼りになる地図であるのは、おなじ方角に長く歩くことができるからだと思う。
少し時間が経ったあとで失礼します。『電脳コイル』のアニメは夫がずっと観ていました。私はその時間忙しいことが多かったので、「面白そう」と感じはしたものの、続けて観ないとつまんないだろうな、と思って放っておきました。仰るようにさほど「黒い」とも感じなかったし。中で「アマザワさん！」という台詞だけが、瞬間、耳に残りました。でもそのときはなんだか「甘い」という語のほうに連想が行ってしまって・・・まさか「天沢」とは！「聞き捨てならぬ」ことを、どうもありがとうございまいした。<br>私はよく「生まれ落ちる前への帰郷」ということを感じます。恐ろしくてどうにもならぬような、でもどうしても忘れられぬ、忘れることを許されぬ「忘れてしまったこと」・・・
